NOW HIRING: Freelance Content Creator

Freelance / Contract | Project-Based | Local Remote (within the Peace Region)

M3M Marketing is looking for a freelance Content Creator to support our team on client and M3M projects as needed. We’re looking for someone who can take and manage monthly content calendars, work with clients to generate content, capture behind-the-scenes content and manage advertising campaigns. As M3M continues to grow, we’re building a network of talented freelancers we can bring into projects based on the expertise we need.

Working With M3M

Most projects will start with M3M providing the scope, background, brand assets, deadlines and direction needed to get started. From there, we’re looking for a content creator who can work independently, communicate well and bring their own creative thinking to the project. Depending on the project, the Content Creator may occasionally be asked to join a client meeting virtually, or in person if they are local to the client or project.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience creating content for businesses or organizations.
  • A strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices.
  • Photography and short-form video creation and editing skills.
  • Proficiency with Canva and social media scheduling tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and basic website content management.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and social media advertising.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate with a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is strongly preferred.

Location

This role is for local applicants only, as it requires a mix of on-the-ground and remote work.

The Kind of Freelancer Who Fits M3M

We’re looking to build ongoing relationships with versatile content creators who can support a variety of client projects. Work may include social media management, photography, video, graphic design, email marketing, website updates and digital advertising. Depending on the project, you may work independently or collaborate with M3M’s team and freelance partners. We value creative, adaptable and organized individuals who can work across different industries, brands and marketing objectives.

Contract Structure

This is a freelance contractor relationship, not an employee position. We will offer projects based on M3M and our clients’ needs, the designer’s availability, and whether their experience is a good fit for the project. We’ll agree on scope, timeline, deliverables, and compensation before work begins. Compensation may be structured as an hourly freelance rate or project fee depending on the assignment. We don’t guarantee hours or a minimum number of projects.
